The team of local representatives for the disabled works for the inklusion of disabled people, takes care of prevention and ensures movement in collegial cooperation.
The general, overarching tasks of the representative body for severely disabled employees are to integrate severely disabled people into the departments, to represent the interests of severely disabled employees and to advise and support severely disabled people in the department. The fulfillment of these tasks relates both to the group of severely disabled people and their group interests as well as to the individual severely disabled person and their individual claims.
To perform these tasks, the representative body for severely disabled employees must ensure that regulations in favor of severely disabled employees are adhered to. It must also apply to the employer or authorities for appropriate measures that benefit severely disabled employees as a group or the individual severely disabled person. It also has the duty to receive suggestions and complaints from severely disabled employees in the company or department and to pursue their legitimate interests.
