The fund for lecturers with family responsibilities (especially junior academics) can be used to apply for financial resources for the preparation and implementation of flexible teaching offers. Funding can be provided, for example, for student assistants (max. 102 hours with a first qualifying degree) who support teaching activities, additional care or nursing costs incurred within the framework of legal regulations, material resources, workshops, further and advanced training in the context of flexible studies / flexible teaching. You can also contribute your own ideas.
The prerequisite for an application to the fund is that you are responsible for the care and upbringing of a child / children under the age of 16 and / or the care of relatives in need of care as well as a current teaching commitment at the University of Kassel in the semester applied for. A grant of up to EUR 2,000 per semester can be applied for as long as funds are available for this purpose. The application must be submitted before applying for the measure.
