What is it about?
Processes to be digitized (in preparation):
As academics, teachers and managers, professors in particular shape the future of the departments and the university as a whole. Their selection is of crucial importance for the strategic direction and development of the university. In order to ensure the competitiveness of the university and to comply with the statutory requirement to select the best, appointment procedures must therefore meet high standards in terms of procedural quality, transparency and equal opportunities.
These are complex, multi-stage procedures involving a large number of players from university management, departments and university administration. These processes are to be digitized to ensure that they are efficient and up-to-date. The digitalization of the following sub-processes is initially planned:
Application for a professorship
Agreement of the President on the composition of the appointment committee
In the future, the intention is to digitalize further sub-processes such as the selection procedure in the department, the awarding of a professorship and the appointment procedure.
