In order to inspire more graduates to pursue an academic career, the Department of Protestant Religious Education promotes gender-equitable and structured support for young academics. For this purpose, there are regular mailings to all students who are considering an academic career and networking meetings several times a year. In addition, contact is maintained with former students and graduates in preparatory service by recruiting them for the acquisition of empirical material and, conversely, by incorporating research questions from teaching practice into the work of the department. In this way, students' interest in research is encouraged and informal contact is established to exchange ideas about career paths.
The project was funded by the special fund ‘Structural Equal Opportunities’
