Supporting the compatibility of conference visits, professional trips, research stays abroad, etc. with caring responsibilities

Brief description

The University of Kassel has set up a mobility fund for academics, particularly junior academics with family responsibilities, in order to improve the framework conditions for reconciling family and academic life. The requirement is the need to take children under the age of 16 and persons for childcare (e.g. relatives) on business trips and/or additional care or nursing costs at home due to absence. A subsidy of up to 250 euros per child or relative can be applied for. Applications are submitted via the Family Welcome Service of the Equal Opportunities Office.
