Objective

Collecting data on how students manage their studies and deriving recommendations for action to improve equal opportunities based on this data

Brief description

Dr Manuela Pötschke's project, which took place from February 2021 to February 2022, aimed to find out which mechanisms form the specific link between resources and mastering studies. For this purpose, guided interviews were conducted, transcribed and analysed. The results were to be used to derive recommendations for action for the faculty so that better equal opportunities for managing studies can be achieved for all students in the faculty.

The "Brave New Foreign World" project was funded by the University of Kassel's Special Fund for Structural Equal Opportunities.
