Sign documents digitally

You can also use your personal keys and the certificate to sign documents electronically. A genuine digital signature is much more than a scanned handwritten signature that is inserted into a document. Unlike a scanned signature, a digital signature is actually forgery-proof and a genuine proof of authenticity. You can also find out how this works on the ITS website.

As soon as you have applied for and successfully installed your certificates, you can use them to digitally sign documents such as PDF or Word documents in future.
