Objective

Strengthen children's social skills and empathy through interreligious and intercultural encounters and impart religious knowledge

Brief description

The Children's Academy is an educational and holiday programme for children aged 8-12. It also serves as a practice-orientated module for prospective teachers and students with an interest in educational work. For them, there is an accompanying and preparatory seminar at the University of Kassel. All (teacher training) students who are interested in the topic and working with children in this age group can take part.

The project "Children's Academy - World Religions in Dialogue" was funded by the University of Kassel's Special Fund for Structural Equal Opportunities.
