Launch of the SDG+ Challenge in theme year 3: Achieving more together - work, business and the common good

The SDG+ Challenge enters its third round!

Kick-off event on 31.10.2025 at UNI:Lokal (Wilhelmstraße 21, 16-20h)

Under the motto "Achieving more together - work, economy and common good", the Challenge brings together people from all areas of society to develop solutions together.
Researchers and students from the University of Kassel, citizens, initiatives and associations, entrepreneurs and founders as well as all interested parties come together to start working together for a more sustainable future on their own doorstep.

Find out more about exciting challenges in the region at the kick-off event, join a team or submit an idea yourself - preferably with others.

The following challenges will be presented:

- Better organization of internships for students and companies

- Using biochar to create applications for a regional circular economy

- Establishing the economy for the common good more strongly in the region

- Implementing plastic recycling locally - from raw materials to the sale of finished products

- Understanding, discussing and implementing sustainable investment

- Innovatively reuse used items that have been disposed of

- Further develop participatory journalism for the common good in Kassel and the region

- Giving disposed textiles a new life through design
