President Prof. Dr Ute Clement
Professor Ute Clement chairs the Presidential Board/Presidium and represents the university externally. She holds authority to set guidelines.
Image: Sonja RodeProfessor Dr. Ute Clement has been President of the University of Kassel since 2021. The vocational and business educator has been working at the university since 2003 and previously shaped it for six years as Vice President. The founding of the Kassel Institute for Sustainability marks an important milestone in her term of office, which will significantly strengthen the university's international profile in sustainability research. Beyond her own university, she has taken on responsibility in science policy: from 2022 to 2024, she represented the common interests of Hessian universities as spokesperson for the Conference of Hessian University Presidents (KHU).
