Chemistry pre-course

For the start of the winter semester 2024/ 25, an online self-study unit is offered as a Moodle course for Chemistry. The course is called "Vorkurs Chemistry 2024" and can be found in Moodle in the "Vorkurse" section.

Self-enrolment in the Moodle course is already possible, assignments and materials will be available from September. In the Moodle course, the tasks and materials can be worked on independently on a voluntary basis. There are no face-to-face classes or guided exercises this semester.

Who is the Chemistry preliminary course for?

The Chemistry online self-study unit is offered as a Moodle course and is a voluntary offer to all students who have a Chemistry component in their first semester or in their degree program and would like to refresh their Chemistry knowledge. There is therefore no compulsory attendance. Most of the students who take part are from the following degree programmes:

  • Biology (BSc. and LA)
  • BSc. Physics
  • BSc. Nanostructural Sciences
  • Chemistry LA
  • BSc. Civil Engineering
  • Vocational Education Health
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Organic
  • AgricultureIndustrial
    • Engineering
