Review: Campus Clean Up 2.0

We successfully used the European Week for Waste Reduction to carry out another public clean-up at Hopla. In 1.5 hours yesterday, over 70 kg of waste was collected and we easily beat our collection record of 50 kg from the summer. This time we particularly noticed numerous discarded items of clothing and countless cigarette butts. The most curious finds were a water boiler and a PC monitor. It's unbelievable what people don't just throw away!

We would like to thank all the volunteers who helped to make our campus a little more beautiful! Many thanks also to our cooperation partners from Wir machen das jetzt einfach (WMDJE) e.V. and the Captain Paul Watson Foundation Germany e.V., who actively supported the campaign.

If you would also like to organize a clean-up, please contact WMDJE e.V. and receive free equipment for your collection campaign!
