quite extreme! Right-wing extremism in the past and present

The Kassel lecture series against right-wing extremism will take place again in the winter semester 2025/26. In memory of the racist murder of Halit Yozgat, which was committed by the right-wing extremist NSU not far from the Holländischer Platz campus in 2006, courses with changing topics have been held annually since 2012, aimed at students and urban society alike. An interdisciplinary team from the Humanities, Humanities and Cultural Studies and Social Sciences departments organizes the lecture series with academics and practitioners. In the winter semester 2025/26, the individual lectures are entitled "recht extrem! Right-wing extremism in the past and present".

The lectures will take place on Mondays from 18:15 to 19:45 in lecture hall 5 of the Campus Center. All students, teaching staff and employees of the University of Kassel as well as all interested guests are cordially invited to the lecture series!
