More than just trees? The diverse functions of the forest
The forest is much more than just a collection of trees - it is a habitat, a climate protector, a supplier of raw materials and, last but not least, a place where we can find peace and relaxation. In this lecture, Wolf Prillwitz (Niedersächsische Landesforsten) will give you exciting insights into the various functions of the forest. A particular focus will be on its recreational function: from cycling and hiking trails to forest playgrounds and forest education.
