Prof. Dr. Josua Oll

Dr. Josua Oll took up the professorship of Sustainability Management on April 15, 2026. Prior to his move to Kassel, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Management Research Group at the University of Oldenburg. Josua Oll studied Economics (BSc) at Maastricht University, Sustainability Management and Economics (MA) at the University of Kassel, and Sustainable Development (MSc) at the University of St Andrews. He completed his doctorate (summa cum laude) in Business Administration at the University of Hamburg with a dissertation on “Sustainable Investments”. His research is situated in the field of sustainability management and focuses on sustainable strategies and business models, the management of sustainable transformation, and sustainability reporting. In his empirical work, Josua Oll employs both quantitative and qualitative methods, with a particular focus on the financial and energy sectors as well as the IT industry.
