Architecture (Bachelor)

If you want to become an architect, you not only have to know how to design and construct rooms and buildings. The profession is far more complex: social, economic and ecological factors have to be taken into account when it comes to building.

At the University of Kassel, the study of architecture is therefore interdisciplinary from the very beginning. Three courses of study are combined in one department: Architecture, Urban Planning and Landscape Planning. The insight of this approach, which is unique in Germany: Only those who acquire and combine competencies from all three disciplines can create sustainable architecture that is environmentally and resource friendly, economically efficient and socially responsible.
