Would you like to get to know Kassel from a completely different perspective? Then join the tutors from the Welcome Center on Sunday, November 22, for an exciting bunker tour through the underground facilities of the Reichsbahn Bunker and the Viktoria Bunker! Together, we’ll explore hidden passageways and historic shelters and learn more about air raid protection, the bombing campaign, and what life was like for people during the Nazi era. The tour, which lasts about two hours, will be conducted in English. Please note that the tour is not wheelchair-accessible, and you’ll need sturdy shoes and warm clothing.

This event is free for international students. Sign up by sending a short email with your name, student ID number, and phone number to welcome-centre[at]uni-kassel[dot]de. Once you’ve successfully registered, you’ll receive further details about the start time and meeting place via email. Please note—there are only a very limited number of spots available, so please only sign up if you are certain you can attend.
