Doctoral scholarships

To support doctoral candidates, the University of Kassel awards doctoral scholarships every semester with the aim of compensating for disadvantages in the completion of the doctorate. Doctoral candidates at the University of Kassel who are close to completing their doctorate are eligible to apply.
Criteria for compensation for disadvantages include additional burdens such as raising children, chronic illness, serious illness or disability. Compensation for disadvantages must not have already been granted by the university through similar funding instruments.
