Objective

provide students with scientific analytical skills to recognize the emergence, impact and significance of gender relations in different social contexts and to demonstrate their application in practical areas

Brief description

Aspects of gender and diversity are not yet very widespread in undergraduate teaching. In order to expand the range of courses on offer, the Interdisciplinary Working Group for Women's and Gender Studies (IAG FG) offers an interdisciplinary study programme that can be completed within four semesters with a certificate in ‘Women's and Gender Studies’. The courses offered in the study programme can be individually combined within the framework of certain specifications. The interdisciplinary structure of the programme allows students to combine perspectives and methods from different disciplines to analyse gender relations.
