Participation and data protection regulations for the #offenfuervielfalt photo competition

All persons over the age of 18 may participate. Employees of the University of Kassel may not take part in the competition. Each participant may only enter with one photo.

Start of participation is June 6, 3 pm. Closing date and end of voting is June 7, 2019, 11:59 pm. The three photos with the most likes (sum of likes on Facebook and Instagram) will win. People with a Facebook and/or Instagram account are eligible to vote. Double voting on both platforms is permitted. By participating in the #offenfuervielfalt photo competition, which will be held on the occasion of the University of Kassel Campus Festival on June 6, 2019, participants assure and ensure that they hold the rights to the image and do not violate the rights of others, in particular personal rights. Participants must agree in writing to the production and use of the photographs.

The winners will be notified by the International Office and then announced on the Instagram and Facebook accounts of the International Office. The prizes (trip to Prague, tickets for MT Melsungen, tickets for KSV Kassel, etc.) will be awarded by the International Office of the University of Kassel. The winners must report back within 30 days of being notified and accept the prize in writing.

The data will only be used for the competition. Participants have the right to information, correction or deletion of the data.

The #offenfuervielfalt photo competition is organized solely by the International Office of the University of Kassel. The competition is not affiliated with Instagram or Facebook. Legal recourse is excluded.
