6th online conference 'Interaction in DaFZ'

The 6th online conference Interaction in German as a Foreign and Second Language is entitled "Multilingual resources and practices".

The role of multilingualism in the context of German as a foreign and second language has increasingly become the focus of both language acquisition-related and language didactic research in recent years. Competences in several languages (keyword "external multilingualism") as well as in several varieties of these individual languages (keyword "internal multilingualism") and their appropriate use are seen as an important potential not only for communication in the target language, but also for its development (Riehl 2024). Against this background, we want to contribute to further empirical research and theoretical modeling of multilingual practices in the context of guided GFL acquisition at the 6th Online Conference on Interaction in GFL.

The event will be held in German.
