Reducing Heavy Industry's Reliance on Imports: University of Kassel Participates in Study

Europe’s steel, chemical, and cement industries can reverse their current 75 percent dependence on imports by switching to domestic resources such as electricity from renewable energy sources and hydrogen. This is shown by a new analysis from Agora Industry, which is based on joint modeling by the University of Kassel and the Wuppertal Institute.
