Information Day on National and European Research Funding Opportunities
The University of Kassel, in collaboration with the EU Liaison Office of the German Research Organisations (KoWi), is hosting a full-day information event on 8 October 2026, from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm, focusing on national and European research funding opportunities. Under the theme ‘Research in Europe’, various research and funding organisations will present their programmes in concise short talks in English, offering insights into different funding streams, career paths and application prospects. The organisations will be on hand throughout the day to answer questions about funding formats and individual career planning in research.
The event is aimed at students in their final years of study, graduates, PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, those preparing for a habilitation, and also multipliers.
Please note that the event will take place in person at the University of Kassel (Campus Centre, Moritzstraße 18, 34127 Kassel).
A warm welcome is also extended to attendees from outside the University of Kassel. Participation is free of charge, but registration for the event is required.
