Safety instructions for countries with travel advice/warnings issued by the Federal Foreign Office

Please note that stays in a country for which the Federal Foreign Office has issued a travel warning
are not eligible for funding, or only to a limited extent. This applies to the
exchange study place and possible financial support from the University of Kassel.

As a general rule, you undertake your mobility at your own request and on your own responsibility. The
International Office advises against stays in countries with a travel warning.

Foreign Office travel and security advice

• Travel advice: Information about a country's entry requirements, medical
  advice, special features under criminal or customs law.
• Safety instructions: Risks for travelers and Germans living abroad. They may contain the
  recommendation to refrain from or restrict travel. Where appropriate,
  advises against non-essential or all travel.
• Travel warnings: Urgent appeal by the Federal Foreign Office to refrain from traveling to a country or to a
  region of a country. They are only issued if
  an acute danger to life and limb must be warned against traveling to a country or a specific region
  of a country.
