Dear first-year students,
first of all, a warm welcome to the Re2 program at the University of Kassel. During the orientation days, you’ll gain your first insights into the program and have the opportunity to get to know your new classmates and network with them.
We look forward to seeing you!

During the summer semester of 2027, the orientation sessions for your respective degree programs will take place between Thursday, April 8, 2027, Friday, April 9, 2027, and Monday, April 12, 2027. Attendance at the orientation sessions is strongly recommended. 

Regular classes begin on Tuesday, April 13, 2027. The academic term ends on July 16, 2027.

The Tuesday after Pentecost (May 18, 27) and the so-called “bridge days” (Fridays following Ascension Day, May 6, 27, and Corpus Christi, May 27, 27) are not lecture-free days.

Lecture-free period: July 17, 27, through October 11, 27, inclusive.
