In the winter semester 2026/27 the introductory events for your respective degree program will take place between Monday, 12.10.26 and Wednesday, 14.10.26. Participation in the introductory events is highly recommended.

The regular courses begin on Thursday, October 15, 2026. The course period ends on February 12, 2027.

Lecture-free period over Christmas and New Year: Saturday 19 December 2026 to Sunday 10 January 2027 inclusive.

At the beginning of your studies, orientation days take place in the form of orientation tutorials ("O-Tutorien" for short). Here you will learn everything you need to know to start your Bachelor's or teacher training course at Faculty 05 - Social Sciences.
