What can I do as an associate in student organisations?

As a member of a student organisation, you have many opportunities to advocate for equal opportunities and equality in the university context. With your commitment, you can promote important topics, initiate discussions and help shape change. Here are some suggestions on how you can become active.

Unconscious biases

Take advantage of the information and further education programmes offered by the University of Kassel to expand your own gender and diversity skills and thereby contribute to a more sensitive and conscious learning and working environment for everyone.

Awareness-raising and sensitisation

In student organisations, you can do a lot to encourage discussions about equality issues.
