Vernissage: "How I do not forget (and forget)"

Two interesting exhibitions are taking place on the first floor of Haus Berneburg in Kassel Südstadt almost at the same time as the gallery festival.
One is the solo exhibition "How I not forget (and forget)" by Japanese artist Kana Nishimori. The graduate of the Kyoto City University of Arts is currently studying Fine Arts in the multidimensional strategies class at the Kunsthochschule Kassel. In her first solo exhibition in Kassel, she will recreate her reality and everyday life with her hands, mainly through embroidery.
Another exhibition is "people, feelings, thoughts" by Julia Rozentsveig, a painter who only came to Kassel from the Ukraine in April. She is a member of a professional artists' group and was also an art teacher in the Ukraine. She is showing ink drawings that she painted in the Ukraine shortly before her escape. These works are about the relationship between people, about their feelings, thoughts and inner worlds, which create something new and different in contact with each other.
