Further training for teachers: Lectures assaisonnées/lecturas bien sazonadas: well-seasoned reading projects from the 3rd year onwards

This workshop presents tried-and-tested methods for implementing reading projects in foreign language lessons from the 3rd learning year to the E phase.

For this purpose, the titles "Visa pour l'inconnu" (Maxime Gillio, 2011, série polar), "La mer à boire" (Diane Giorgis, 2018, série polar), "Vaincre sa peur" (Claire Mazard, 2019) and "Profites-en ce soir" (France Gosselin, 2021) from the "Nouvelle bibliothèque junior/Cornelsen" and for Spanish lessons "Tres meses en México" (Manuel Vila Baleato, Cornelsen, 2019, for Encuentros Volume 1.) , "Otro yo en Argentina" (for Apuntaté Volume 3, Cornelsen, 2021) and "Desconexión total" (Lourdes Miquel, Klett, 2020, 3rd year of learning).

A collection of teaching examples and experiences is intended to outline how differentiated and emotional learning can be promoted in the targeted learning years, which play a "hinge function" with regard to motivation, emotional attachment and deeper interest in foreign language learning. Well-seasoned reading units awaken an appetite for reading!
