From aniseed to cinnamon: spices from all over the world. Hands-on seminar for everyone aged 12 and over at the Witzenhausen Tropical Greenhouse

Grandparents, parents and children (aged 12 and over) experience the cookies and cookies of the pre-Christmas season in a different way: they feel and guess spices from aniseed to cinnamon, sniff the characteristic ingredients of Christmas cookies, listen to anecdotes and stories and experience the spice plants in a guided tour in a tropical climate. It's about pepper sacks, conquests, gingerbread as a fasting food - and what this still has to do with us today.
Afterwards, there is non-alcoholic mulled punch for everyone. The family can buy fair-trade, organically grown spices and chocolate at the Weltladen Witzenhausen stand to "bake on".
