Grow & Go - Solar cars made from mushrooms

Two-day workshop

Date: Mon. 30.03., 14-17 h (Location: Uni:Lokal, Wilhelmsstraße 21)
Date: Thu. 09.04., 14-17 h (Location: Umweltbildungszentrum Wassererlebnishaus)

In this two-day workshop, participants will build solar vehicles from mushrooms.

GROW! The first date of the workshop will take place at Uni:Lokal in Kassel city center. Here, participants will work together to develop "body components" from mushroom mycelium. Participants will learn about the life cycle of mushrooms, get an introduction to mushroom cultivation and learn how to grow mushrooms into the desired shape.

GO! On the second day of the workshop, the finished mycelium components are brought together with solar components and chassis in the workshops of the Wassererlebnishaus - and the mycelium mobile is ready.
