At the Wilhelmshöhe campus location (Department of Electrical Engineering/Computer Science), the student working group Earth Technical 16 has been committed to increasing biodiversity and quality of life since the beginning of this year. The aim is to make the inner courtyard greener, more colorful and livelier. Small raised beds and planters have already been installed and planting began in September. To save resources, the students have also built a practical irrigation system using just two clay pots and some beeswax. More plants will be added next spring and a flowering meadow is also planned. Perhaps wild bees will then also nest in the new insect hotels that have been hung up by then.
