New deposit rings on campus

Many returnable bottles and cans are currently simply thrown in the garbage can or in the immediate vicinity. This leads to a lower quality of stay, carries the risk of broken glass and increases the amount of residual waste and therefore also leads to higher waste and cleaning costs for the university. The new deposit rings on the Hopla campus, at the Ingschule, at the Kunsthochschule and in Witzenhausen help to improve bottle recycling and also have a major social component. They help those in need, as the bottles are clearly visible in the deposit ring and can be taken away directly without anyone having to reach into the bin. The deposit holders allow the university to make an active social contribution and act as a role model. They are a simple but effective measure that also keeps the campus cleaner and shows social respect.
