"Dialogue Ambassadors" Workshop with Mo Asumang
Whether in the classroom, at work, in local communities, or among friends—we encounter polarizing and anti-democratic statements in many places. Many people feel unsure about how to respond to them.
The Dialogue Ambassadors Workshop will teach you concrete strategies for remaining respectful, confident, and on equal footing in dialogue—even in difficult situations—by taking a clear stance rather than letting things escalate.
You’ll strengthen your dialogue skills, self-confidence, and resilience when dealing with challenging and anti-democratic conversations.
The workshop will be led by Mo Asumang.
Want to put what you’ve learned into practice right away? On September 19, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Motzbude will be set up on Opernplatz in Kassel. Here, people can talk about what moves and frustrates them. There, you’ll have the opportunity to serve as a dialogue ambassador and engage in conversations with all visitors.
The workshop is open to anyone interested. However, we’re especially looking forward to participants who’d like to facilitate conversations at the Motzbude on September 19, 2026 (together with other dialogue ambassadors and under supervision). Participation in the workshop and at the Motzbude is free of charge.
