37th Symposium on Psychoanalysis and Ageing
Image: Psychoanalysis and ageingThe 37th Symposium on Psychoanalysis and Ageing "When I’m Sixty-Four" - Desires, fears, and hopes deals with the longings, fears and hopes that affect and move everyone who is approaching or reaching old age. Perhaps it is the longing to be able to catch up on a piece of life or to achieve something that has so far been denied to us. Longing describes an often painful desire for something undefined, with no hope of achieving it. Closely linked to this feeling is the worry that the longed-for thing is ultimately unattainable. If both can be worked through, realistic hope for a good old age is possible - hope that motivates and conveys confidence.
The event will be held in German.
