Students rank Uni Kassel into top group

According to the survey, Kassel students on the Master's degree programmes in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Psychology were almost all very satisfied. The response rate for the Environmental Engineering degree programme was too low for an evaluation. The categories surveyed included the general study situation, supervision, support and practical orientation.

In cooperation with the weekly newspaper DIE ZEIT, the Center for Higher Education Development (CHE) compiles what it claims is the most comprehensive ranking of Master's degree courses in Germany. In addition to facts on the areas of study, teaching and research, the ranking includes students' opinions of their universities. This year, the survey focused on the subjects of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Materials and Process Engineering and Psychology. More than 8,000 students took part.
