Welcome Week for international students in winter 2025/26

In the summer semester 2026, the introductory events for your respective degree program will take place between Thursday, 09.04.26, Friday, 10.04.2026 and/or Monday, 13.04.2026. Participation in the introductory events is highly recommended.

The regular courses begin on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. The course period ends on July 17, 2026.

Tuesday after Whitsun (25 May 26) and so-called bridge days (Fridays after Ascension Day 15 May 26 and Corpus Christi 05 June 26) are not free of events.

The Welcome Week for students of the MA programme Labour Policies and Globalisation (LPG) will be held from October 7-12, 2024. It will feature both LPG-specific events and general events from the International Office of the University of Kassel. Additionally, some sessions will be organized with the MA programme in Global Political Economy and Development. During these days, you will have the opportunity to meet your fellow classmates, connect with faculty members, and familiarize yourself with the resources available to you at the University of Kassel.
