Are you studying to become a teacher, or is your academic work focused on schools, education, and teaching? At Edumenta, you can discuss issues related to school and instructional development together with students, teachers, educational professionals, and researchers, and gain insight into different perspectives from schools, academia, and research.

Edumenta is a joint event organized by the University of Kassel and three schools in the region. The focus is on how schools can be structured and further developed—and what ideas the various participants bring to the table.

The event will take place in aBarcamp format. This means that the program is co-created by the participants. You can suggest your own questions and topics, join in on discussions, or learn about the topics proposed by other participants. Participation is free of charge.

Edumenta During Your Studies

During the winter semester, two courses will also be offered in connection with Edumenta: a project seminar and a teaching research seminar. They are primarily aimed at teacher education students and are also partially open to students in Empirical Educational Research as well as those in the Bachelor’s program in Educational Science with integrated sustainability studies.
