1. Workshop on Successful Funding & Management: Cost Estimates, Reports on the Use of Funds, & Funding Requests

The Research Coordination Team is pleased to announce a new series of workshops on the topic of funding and grants: “Third-Party Funding Without the Drama? Workshops for Successful Funding & Management.” This workshop series provides practical fundamentals on third-party funding management, EU projects, funding issues, and bureaucratic hurdles. It is aimed particularly at academic and administrative staff as well as research group and project leaders—and is open to all members of the Kassel Institute for Sustainability.
This first session will cover the topics of cost calculations, statements of expenditure, and funding requests (with a focus on the DFG, DAAD, federal government, SAP reports, portals, and funders’ regulations). Our guest speaker is Ralf Heuckeroth, group leader in third-party funding management.
The workshop will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. here at the KIS, Seminar Room 3001 and will be held in German. If you have any questions, please contact Antje Bracht (antje.bracht[at]uni-kassel[dot]de).
Space is limited and reserved for members of the Kassel Institute—so please register here as soon as possible!
