Fund for teachers with family responsibilities
The fund for teachers is currently depleted. Unfortunately, no further applications can be submitted at this time.
Financial resources can be requested from the fund for teachers with family responsibilities (especially young scientists) for the preparation and implementation of flexible teaching programs. Funding can be provided for student assistants (max. 102 hours with a first qualifying degree) who support teaching activities, additional childcare or nursing costs within the framework of legal regulations, material resources, workshops, and continuing education and training in the context of flexible study/flexible teaching. Teachers can also submit own ideas.
To be eligible to apply for funding, applicants must have custody and responsibility for the care of a child/children under the age of 16 and/or be caring for relatives in need of care and must be teaching at the University of Kassel during the semester for which they are applying. A grant of up to €2,000 per semester can be applied for per application, if sufficient financial resources are available. The application must be submitted before the funding request.
Applications are submitted via the Family Welcome Service of the Equal Opportunities Office.
