Lecture series FUSION 2023/24: LESS:ON We demand sustainable teaching!

After two discussion rounds organized by LESS:ON, in which we discussed alternative teaching formats, interdisciplinarity, the ASL semester schedule, student influence in teaching and more, we cordially invite you to a third evening. We will develop and organize our fusion evening together in our seminar. This time we will make concrete demands on teaching. We will present proposals for teaching, emphasize the potential of the interdisciplinarity made possible at ASL and discuss concepts of sustainability.

LESS:ON is a student initiative that was founded in summer 2022 at Faculty 06 of the University of Kassel. We deal with the major topic of sustainability in teaching. In our seminar, we talk about the shortcomings in current teaching. We formulate demands that we have for teaching. With our activities and events, we want to strengthen the discourse and critical thinking about sustainable teaching in our department.

The lecture will take place in person, will be recorded and will be available as a video on Panopto the next day.
