Dear first-year students,
first of all, a warm welcome to the Master’s program in “Biology” at the University of Kassel.
During the orientation days, you’ll gain initial insights into the program and have the opportunity to talk with your new classmates and network.

During the 2026–27 winter semester, the orientation sessions for your respective degree programs will take place between Monday, October 12, 2026, and Wednesday, October 14, 2026. Attendance at these orientation sessions is strongly recommended.

Regular classes begin on Thursday, October 15, 2026

The course period ends on February 12, 2027

Lecture-free period: December 19, 2026, through January 10, 2027, inclusive
