A warm welcome to you!
We are delighted that you have decided to study at the University of Kassel and, in particular, a subject from our Department of Social Sciences.
We have compiled the essential information for a good start to your studies on the university's study information pages.
At the beginning of your studies, orientation days are held in the form of orientation tutorials ("O-Tutorien" for short). Here you will learn everything you need to know to start your Bachelor's or teacher training course at Faculty 05 - Social Sciences.
The O-Tutorials are led by experienced students from higher semesters. They will accompany you as you embark on this new stage (of your life)!

Dear first-year students,
We, the student council 05, would like to welcome you to the University of Kassel!
As the student council, we are your student representatives: we organize parties, student advice, information desk for your timetables, represent student interests in committees of Faculty 05 and are always available for your concerns.

Write to us by email or on Instagram. We also have a moodle course where you can find more information. Alternatively - just drop by our room in NP5 R2109!
