Special learning objectives:

• In landscape architecture: focus on a free inductive or experimental approach to promote innovative design results,
• In open space planning: sustainable, spatial and organizational concepts for the development of open spaces at the neighbourhood, city and regional level

The specialization in landscape architecture and open space planning (LF) focuses on the planning and design of open spaces in cities and regions. It includes the planning, renewal and expansion of open space systems and individual public or private open spaces (e.g. green corridors, parks, squares, gardens). Specialist knowledge and methods of analyzing the social, ecological, technical and economic framework conditions of open space planning and skills in the design-based, structural-spatial design of open spaces in the context of their built environment are taught and critically reflected upon.
