Pre-course

For some degree programs and subjects, we recommend participation in preliminary courses. Pre-courses are aimed at first-year students who would like to refresh their knowledge in Mathematics, Chemistry* and/or Spanish. The preliminary courses start before the actual introductory dates.

The Chemistry pre-course is aimed at all students in their first year of study who are studying subjects with a Chemistry component at the University of Kassel. It is intended to refresh students' knowledge of Chemistry before the actual start of lectures and thus facilitate their entry into the Chemistry modules. As there are a lot of arithmetic problems to be worked on in the chemistry modules, participation in a preliminary Mathematics course is strongly recommended.
