Excursion: Borken Mining Museum

Would you like to go on an exciting journey through the history of mining? Then join us on Saturday morning, June 6, for a visit to the Hessian Lignite Mining Museum in Borken!

You can expect a guided tour underground and an evening together at Lake Singlis: first we will explore the visitor gallery and experience first-hand what working underground was like. Then we'll head to Lake Singlis together, where we'll round off the evening together.

The tour lasts around 1.5 hours. Afterwards, we will travel to Lake Singlis by train.

Important: The tour will be conducted exclusively in German. However, the tutors will of course act as your translators.

Please bring sturdy shoes and a slightly warmer jacket, as it is cool underground (approx. 12 °C).
