CLIMATE! Get back into the conversation

The climate crisis is one of the greatest challenges of our time - it affects all areas of our lives and yet has become increasingly invisible in media and public discourse. It is often declared to be a brake on prosperity, avoided as a trigger topic or simply ignored. Although it is omnipresent, many people no longer want to deal with it. Previous communication strategies are reaching their limits - there is no real exchange.

This is exactly where we want to start in this event: How can we get people talking about the climate crisis again? What does it take to open up new spaces for communication? What paths and approaches are available to us? Together, we want to explore how speechlessness can be turned back into dialog. The play "Climate Monologues" by the group Wort und Herzschlag from Berlin is an example of what an emotional approach can look like. The documentary theater is based on interviews with people affected by the climate crisis, which were merely shortened and condensed for the production.

The event is free of charge.
However, the theater group Wort und Herzschlag is happy to receive a donation on site.
Pre-registration is not necessary.
