What we offer

The subject French comprises the disciplines of linguistics, literature and regional studies. These academic disciplines are framed by practical language training, which is provided exclusively by native-speaker teachers, and a sound education in foreign language didactics.

During your studies you will build up a sound knowledge of the French language, get to know the country and its people and become an expert in French culture and history. The practical foreign language didactics of the French teacher training program will prepare you comprehensively for your future profession as a teacher. The close cooperation with schools in the region gives you the opportunity to put theory into practice and to test the knowledge gained from your studies in the classroom.

Through the Erasmus cooperation with our partner universities, you will have the opportunity to study at a total of 12 universities in France and Belgium for up to 24 months.
