Validation of the CampusCard

What does "validation" mean?
Validation is an update of the card at vending machines located at each university location. During this process, the data stored visually and electronically on the card, such as the semester ticket, is updated. Without regular validation, the card loses its validity.
How long are the student ID and semester ticket valid on the CampusCard?
During validation, the ID cards are printed for the current semester and, if you have already successfully re-registered, also for the following semester. You can check whether the re-registration has been completed in eCampus(My Studies > Student Services).
