Mobility Fund for scientists with family responsibilities
In order to improve the framework conditions for reconciling family and science, the university has set up a mobility fund for scientists, especially junior scientists with family responsibilities. The fund can be used to subsidize mobility costs incurred due to family responsibilities in order to reconcile conference visits, professional trips, research stays abroad, etc. with family responsibilities. This is subject to the necessity of taking children under 16 years of age and persons for child care (e.g. relatives) on business trips and/or additional care or nursing costs at the place of residence due to absence. A grant of up to 250 euros per child or dependant* can be applied for. Funding within the framework of externally funded projects in consultation with the Family Welcome Service. Applications are submitted via the Family Welcome Service of the Equal Opportunity Office.
